Cazenovia, New York
Private Farmhouse Suite
Rustic & Romantic 1854 Farmhouse Stay
Our Hobby Farm is nestled just outside the Village of Cazenovia in the rolling hills of beautiful Upstate New York. We raise a variety of chickens that produce healthy and wholesome farm fresh eggs. Pure NYS Maple Syrup is harvested here on-site every Spring. We are a short three minute drive to Cazenovia Lake with spectacular bass fishing, sailing, boating and swimming. Cazenovia is home to the Historic Lorenzo Mansion House and was the stately residence of our founder John Lincklaen and his family. Our town boasts three of the finest and award-winning restaurants in Central New York … The Brewster Inn, The Lincklaen House and The Brae Loch Inn serve fine dining and casual dining menus. Guests will enjoy walking the quaint streets of Cazenovia among specialty gift shoppes or browsing homemade goods and crafts at our Summer or Winter Farmer’s Market.
Located nearby are hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, waterfall walks, golfing, downhill skiing, community skating and local farms offering fresh produce and outdoor activities. Highland Forest features scenic views, wooded nature trails, cross country skiing, sledding and snowshoeing. Tour the fields and facilities producing apples, cider, pumpkins and maple syrup at Critz Farms in Cazenovia or Beak & Skiff Apple Orchard in nearby Lafayette.
